SEATTLE, WA...November 24, 2008... Jeremy Camp is making noise this week to get his fans to speak up, speak now, speak loud with his new release, Speaking Louder Than Before, which drops in stores and online this week. Co-produced by Jeremy Camp and Grammy Award winning producer Brown Bannister this his first project in over two years. Through the past few years and all that has happened in his life, Camp has realized the urgency of speaking louder to all.
"I have walked through the valleys, the mountains, and plains," shares Camp. "That's why I'm speaking up, that's why I'm speaking now and loud."
It is this newfound passion that is stirring Camp to stand up this week. One of the events that will be taking place around his anticipated release includes an online debut of the title track music video at Yahoo! Music, the premiere online music news source. Check it out tomorrow.
Additionally online fans can log in free and watch the release day concert live via Camp's website at 7 PM Pacific on November 25th (Tuesday). Fans can also join the live chat that will accompany the stream by going to the website.
To get fans speaking up in their own community, Camp launched a contest this past weekend on YouTube. To officially enter the contest, fans are to create a video, email the posted link to contest@becrecordings.com and spread the word about their video to family and friends. The video with the most views on YouTube will win a VIP prize pack from Jeremy Camp. Check out the contest video message from Camp at this link.
Along with Camp's newly designed official website, an album site has been launched this week featuring sections to "Share Your Story," watch devotional videos from the album, download wallpapers, banners, MySpace themes and Scripture links. Check out the fresh site at this link.
Online and in-store incentives are taking place with the release to give fans an extra bonus with the purchased album. At iTunes, a full album purchase will include an exclusive Christmas track, "Christ is Come," as for a, Wal-Mart CD purchase includes a live recording of "Let it Fade."
The debut radio single "There Will Be A Day" has hugely impacted radio as it has shot up to the Top 10 in every format with increased spins weekly including No. 1 at AC Indicator. Amongst all the buzz around this album online, at retail and radio, the media are also beginning to post their comments about the CD. Check out what outlets are already saying:
"This effort on the whole seems to carry more emotional and musical heft than some of Camp's previous recordings, as though he's finally figured out how to hone both the challenges and triumphs he faced in early adulthood -- losing his first wife to cancer mere months after they wed, remarrying, becoming a father -- into increasingly effective songwriting and music-making."

"A fresh start and a stirring message that resonates with listeners"
-- R&R Magazine
"Jeremy nails every song ... the rockers, the ballads, the pop worship anthems. The first single, "There Will be a Day," has already been a huge hit with radio and believe me, the other 11 songs on the release are just as good. This is one of those releases that should be a "must have" on your list."

"No matter what the topic, Camp once again grows as a writer and vertically focused entertainer whose continuously developing testimony is just as inspiring as the reflections sewn across Speaking Louder Than Before." --CMCentral
"Always relatable and always relevant, this rocker with a preacher's heart shows us what it means to live out loud."
